Returns & Refunds Policy
Last Updated: 11 August 2026
At KnotToday, we want you to be happy with your purchase. This Returns & Refunds Policy explains how returns, refunds and exchanges work for purchases made through our online store.
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws, including the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
1. 30-DAY RETURN POLICY
KnotToday offers a 30-day return policy for eligible purchases.
This means you have 30 days from the date you receive your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a change-of-mind return, your item must:
-
Be in the same condition in which you received it;
-
Be unworn and unused;
-
Have all original tags attached;
-
Be in its original packaging where applicable; and
-
Be accompanied by proof of purchase, such as your order confirmation or receipt.
Items that do not meet these conditions may not be eligible for a change-of-mind return.
This 30-day policy does not limit any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
2. HOW TO START A RETURN
To request a return, please submit your request through your KnotToday customer account portal:
KnotToday Customer Account Portal
You may also contact us at:
Email: knottodayau@outlook.com
Please provide your order number and the reason for your return.
Do not send an item back before your return has been approved or you have received return instructions from us.
Unauthorised returns may be delayed or may not be accepted.
3. RETURN ADDRESS
Once your return request has been approved, we will provide you with the appropriate return instructions and return address.

Please do not send returns to our business address unless we specifically instruct you to do so.
4. EUROPEAN UNION — 14-DAY RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
If you are a consumer located in the European Union and the EU consumer right of withdrawal applies to your purchase, you generally have the right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving a reason.
The 14-day withdrawal period begins on the day you, or a person you nominate other than the carrier, receive the last item of your order.
For an order containing multiple items delivered separately, the 14-day period begins when the last item is received.
How to exercise the right of withdrawal
You must notify KnotToday of your decision to cancel within the applicable 14-day withdrawal period.
You can submit your request through our customer account portal:
KnotToday Customer Account Portal
You may also contact:
After notifying us that you are exercising your right of withdrawal, you must send the goods back to us without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the day on which you communicated your cancellation to us, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
The deadline is met if you send the goods back before the 14-day period has expired.
5. CONDITION OF RETURNED ITEMS
Where you exercise a statutory right of withdrawal, you may handle and inspect the goods only to the extent necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
You may be responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect the goods, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
For our voluntary 30-day change-of-mind return policy, items should be returned:
-
Unworn;
-
Unused;
-
With original tags attached;
-
In original packaging where applicable; and
-
With proof of purchase.
6. RETURN SHIPPING COSTS
Standard 30-day change-of-mind returns
For change-of-mind returns under KnotToday's voluntary 30-day policy, the customer is responsible for the cost of return postage, unless KnotToday agrees otherwise.
Defective, damaged or incorrect items
If the item is defective, damaged, faulty or we sent you the wrong item, please contact us before returning it.
Where the issue is covered by applicable consumer law, KnotToday will provide the appropriate remedy and, where required by law, reasonable return shipping costs will be covered.
EU right of withdrawal
For an EU statutory withdrawal, the customer is generally responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods, unless:
-
KnotToday has agreed to pay the return cost; or
-
We failed to inform you before purchase that you would be responsible for the return cost.
Nothing in this section limits any rights you have under applicable law.
7. REFUND OF ORIGINAL SHIPPING COSTS
Where an EU consumer validly exercises the statutory right of withdrawal, KnotToday will refund the payments received from the customer, including the cost of standard delivery offered by KnotToday for the original order, subject to applicable law.
If you selected a more expensive delivery option than the least expensive standard delivery option offered by us, we are not required to refund the additional amount attributable to the more expensive delivery method.
For example, if standard delivery costs $10 and you selected an express delivery option costing $25, the standard $10 delivery cost may be refundable, while the additional $15 express-delivery cost may not be.
For our voluntary 30-day change-of-mind returns outside any statutory withdrawal right, original shipping costs are not refundable unless otherwise required by applicable law or stated by KnotToday.
8. WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY REFUND?
EU statutory withdrawal
Where an EU statutory right of withdrawal applies, we will process the refund without undue delay and generally within 14 days after receiving your cancellation notice.
However, where permitted by applicable law, we may withhold the refund until:
-
We have received the returned goods; or
-
You provide evidence that you have sent the goods back,
whichever occurs first.
Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless you expressly agree to another method.
KnotToday's 30-day return policy
For eligible voluntary returns, we will notify you once we have received and inspected your returned item.
If the return is approved, we will process the refund to the original payment method.
Please allow additional time for your bank or payment provider to process and display the refund in your account.
If you have not received an approved refund after a reasonable processing period, please contact us at:
9. DAMAGES, DEFECTS AND INCORRECT ITEMS
Please inspect your order when you receive it.
Contact us as soon as reasonably possible if:
-
Your item arrives damaged;
-
Your item is defective or faulty;
-
You receive the wrong product;
-
Your order is missing an item; or
-
The product does not match what you ordered.
Please contact:
Include your order number and, where appropriate, photographs showing the issue.
We will assess the issue and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable law.
For Australian customers, statutory consumer guarantees may provide rights to a repair, replacement, refund or other remedy depending on the circumstances. These rights cannot be excluded by this policy.
10. EXCEPTIONS AND NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
Certain products may be excluded from a statutory right of withdrawal or from our voluntary change-of-mind return policy where permitted by applicable law.
Examples may include:
-
Products made to the customer's specifications or clearly personalised products;
-
Goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
-
Sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed;
-
Goods that have been inseparably mixed with other goods after delivery;
-
Digital content supplied without a physical medium, where applicable legal requirements for exclusion have been met; and
-
Other products or circumstances specifically exempted under applicable consumer law.
Any exclusion will only apply where legally permitted.
For our voluntary 30-day change-of-mind policy, sale items and gift cards are generally not eligible for return, unless required by applicable law.
If you are unsure whether your item is eligible for return, please contact:
11. EXCHANGES
We do not normally provide direct exchanges.
The fastest way to receive a different product is to:
-
Request a return for the original item;
-
Return the original item in accordance with the applicable return requirements; and
-
Place a new order for the product you want.
If the original item is defective, damaged or incorrect, please contact us before placing a new order so that we can determine the appropriate remedy.
12. AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW
If you are an Australian consumer, this policy does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Consumer guarantees apply automatically to eligible purchases. A business cannot remove these rights simply by stating that products are non-refundable or by imposing a short return period.
If a product fails to meet an applicable consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy depending on the circumstances, which may include a repair, replacement, refund or compensation.
Our voluntary 30-day change-of-mind policy is separate from these statutory rights.
